Air Compressors
An Air Compressor is a machine that transforms power from an electric motor, gasoline or diesel engine, etc. into compressed air, or potential energy held in the compressed air under pressure. An air compressor increases the pressure of a storage tank by forcing more and more air into it using one of several methods.
Compressors can be categorised based on the pressure they produce:
*Low-pressure air compressors (LPACs), which have a discharge pressure of 150 psi or less
*Medium-pressure compressors (MPACs) which have a discharge pressure of 151 psi to 1,000 psi
*High-pressure air compressors (HPACs), which have a discharge pressure above 1,000 psi
